Eric Metaxas Thursday July 29th 2021

Description

We're excited to invite Base Camp alumni to join us as we are privileged to have the rare opportunity of hosting Mr. Metaxas in an intimate small group environment with us this year. It will be a unique setting, allowing students to ask questions from a critically acclaimed author and historian about heroes in the faith and how to remain faithful in Christ in a turbulent world.

Alumni can join us for the second of two sessions of the day, on Thursday, July 29th from 1:45 pm - 3 pm with a meet and greet afterward from 3 pm - 3:15 pm. Mr. Metaxas will be speaking on his most well-known biographies and encouraging us to stay firm in faith in today's world.

Registration is $15 per student alumni and $75 for non-student alumni. Books will be available for purchase at the event. For more information, contact us at info@faithascent.com.

Session Description: Standing in Faith – Examples from History

Throughout the ages, there have been people who have radically changed the world, staying committed to biblical truth in the midst of extreme pressure and difficult circumstances. Drawing from Bonhoeffer, Martin Luther, and 7 Great Men and & 7 Great Women, Eric Metaxas will encourage us to hold fast to biblical principles and not to compromise through stories of men and women who did the same in their day – and changed the course of history.
